The ideal boiler system software that everyone envisions will not experience corrosion, with the water in the system being fixed and circulating repeatedly. However, in reality, corrosion is a problem that every boiler encounters. To prevent environmentally friendly boilers from corroding, we offer the following suggestions:

1. For environmentally friendly boilers with excessive water replenishment rates, it is essential to identify the cause, close all drainage valves, block all leaks, and enhance the system's automatic exhaust valve, strictly managing the plan to ensure that the water replenishment rate operates within acceptable limits.

2. A small amount of supplementary water is unavoidable, but attention must be paid to the quality of the supplementary water, which should be deoxygenated water. For independently heated boiler water, the residual heat from the flue gas can be utilized to preheat the cold water (softened water) to 70℃–80℃, and then an appropriate amount of ammonium sulfate and sodium sulfite can be added to the boiler, which is beneficial and harmless to the boiler.

3. Strictly control the pH value of the boiler water, and regularly (every two hours) test the pH value. When the pH value is below 10, the dosage of ammonium sulfate and sodium hydroxide can be increased for adjustment.

4. Properly maintain the boiler blowpipe. There are two types: dry and wet. For blowpipes that have not been used for more than a month, dry maintenance should be adopted; for those used for less than a month, wet maintenance can be used. After the gas boiler is out of service, dry maintenance should be adopted, ensuring that the water is completely drained, and using low heat to dry out the moisture. Then, add quicklime or calcium chloride at a rate of 2KG–3KG per cubic meter of boiler capacity to ensure the interior of the boiler is dry, effectively preventing corrosion during the downtime.

5. The gas boiler should be shut down for a comprehensive inspection and maintenance every 3-6 months.
